Please, let the player start!

Some subliminal pop is needed in order to make our tired souls fit for this hot hot weather that's surrounding Italy. A famous italian idiomatic expression says: " It can't rain forever". But when the sun stares at us like the baddest and angriest of the gods of the sky, well during those (these) days I say "What's a pity"... Anyway, let's refresh with these pop melodies, which are easy but not banal, not at all... Two Danish talents, Tobias Wimberg aka Death Valley Sleepers with his eighties' mooded power pop-rock, and Jeremy Sparrow with his sharp voice and guitars (and with the well reecognizable and precious help from Tobias, see our previous post about Denmark. Then we have Vancouver, an Italian band whose notoriety is growing and growing with their Jennifer('s Umpredictable Happiness), a song that I had the big pleasure to listen to during a live gig. Last but not least, we have the Light Merchants, with the melancholic surfin' of "Behind the Moon".
Well, I said "melancholic"... because I think that a "refreshing effect" can be obtained in various ways.

  Jeremy Sparrow

In the end, a message for those who haven’t sent their music yet, for those who want to send some new material, and for those who want to signal us other interesting artists... These are the addresses!
