Let's go to wander around one of the most populous countries of the whole world. Will I meet someone whose song will be able to make me feel good? No doubt!

 @mAy(HéMiE)@ - Favourite track: iMpRo 2
I hope this girl will have some success. Great talent: she is able to build a song only with an hypnotic "ill keyboards" harmony and with her languishing distorted voice. Minimalism that becomes art. Listen also to "iMpRo 3". India has its Coco Rosie as well... Great!
PS: Does "impro" stand for "improvisation"? If it is so, here it is another (and not secondary) reason to appreciate her!

Boddah - Favourite track: Conjunction
A strange, "crooked" atmosphere. This one minute long instrumental piece shows that a lo-fi approach, if well managed, can produce little pearls.

Daniele Camarda - Favourite track: Dell'incertezza iii
Experimentation between the free jazz and electronics. Ambient atmospheres, with a bass that jumps everywhere but without being baroque like some jazz/fusion bassmen often are. Enjoy!

Ashwin Srinivasan - Favourite track:
Let's jump into "Indian Classical Music". Let's hear this great Indian flute player. Violins, Sitar, percussions, and Bansuri, the traditional Indian flute. All of this is mixed somewhere with some modern influences, like those of an electric guitar or an electronic base. Sounds good...

Anhad - Favourite track - Tamasha
If Van Morrison had been born in India, he would have written "Tamasha", I have no doubt.

4080peru - Favourite track: Drifting Angels
A kind of ambient that fits well with the idea of mysticism and mystery that India gives to us western people. New Age is only a derivation from Oriental culture, in my opinion. This band donates us great soundtracks for our emotional trips...

Eveda Chechi - Favourite track: The Rush
Here it is a band of young Indian talents... Dave Matthews has some "artistic sons" even in India, trust me... Funk music mixed with a melodic (and talented) voice.

Five little indians - Favourite track: Happy Birthday
This five guys follow a path that starts from the Seattle of Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains, with a lead guitar which is so close to the one that characterized one of the greatest bands of the late '80 and '90, i.e. Soundgarden. While I'm writing, I remember that their lead guitar, Kim Thayl, is of Indian origin. Is it only a coincidence?

MrEcho - Favourite track: First Wave
Let's come back to hypnosis: a hammering drum rhythm, ethereal and non-melodic (but rhythmic) synthetic sounds. The result can take you towards a really interesting psycho-labyrinth... Well, now I'm ready to go to bed...

Good night,

Fiorenzo Fuolega
