Here it is a long and prolific Atlantic crossing, among electronic rhythms, melancholic ballads, experimentation, and a thousand sounds and colours.
Brazil, a land which is full of phenomena...
UMARCO & $EM GRANA - Favourite track: Sempre sou suspeito
This rap has a strange and fascinating atmosphere, with a "fluttering flute" and voices that chase each other on a carpet of sampled bows.
P-LUGAR - Favourite track: grande reacao III
100% experimentation! P-Lugar is a music permanent exhibition. During this song a reader is accompaigned by a crescendo of whistlings. The public seems to appreciate it... like we do, of course!
Dois em Um - Favourite track: E se chover
A beutiful way to start again. I let the beautiful voice of Fernanda Monteiro cradle me. Atmospheres that are sweetly on the border between peace and ironic disenchantment... Great song!
Automatic Pilot Required - Favourite track: The Warlus' Horn and the Stoned Hornet
After having listened to "I never have been down", an exhausting drum'n'bass ride, I've discovered this song, which is more latin, no doubt. An endless overdubbing of percussions, an invitation to a crazy dance, a tribal rite of the present time... Please pump up the volume before listening to it!
DJ Mario77 - Favourite track: intro performance
You must listen to this dj, and to the dilated and surreal atmosphere of this song! Simply amazing.
China - Favourite track: Um dia lindo de morrer
I must say it: probably this artist is quite famous in Brazil. But it's not so otherwhere around the world... Well, you have to listen to it. But do not let your girlfriend listen to it: she could betray you!
vandaluz - Favourite track: Teoria
I rent a car and then i decide to cross Brazil... And I hope the road will be full of curves and changings. Just like this ballad...
menthe de chat - Favourite track: FST (live at outro rio)
"Where does the night bring me? Where? Where does this night want to bring me?" If I should find some words for this instrumental song, probably I would use this sole sentence... Hoping for the night to really bring me somewhere!
Yogi™ - Favourite track: Duivel
So I begin walking on the road that will lead me home by letting this endless rhythm carry me. Thanks to Yogi for his an mine inspiration, and thanks to Brazil for this good night!|
Enjoy!
