Music for Everyone’s Tastes

One of the things that I understand very little about because I am probably turning into a grumpy old man, is the need to place labels and define every kind of music nowadays.

Press releases of CDs have become frightening to read because instead of speaking truly about newly released music and its emotional impact on the listener, all that music critics really ever do now is to classify bands according to who they sound like.

That is why a creation like Popper from the group Forensick is so refreshing.
Finally, I am happy to say there exists a band that knows how to perform great music without taking themselves too seriously and you can be sure that their musical talent is not based on a common and aseptic label, but by the quality of their tracks.

Songs like ‘Nicky’, ‘Del Fare’ e ‘Facile’ are only three excellent examples which go to show that: heart, soul and ideas really matter in making good music. So, let’s leave those boring “sounds like” lists to those “o so” boring individuals.
Stay tuned!
