The Placebo Effect
It's a terrible sensation when your alarm clock doesn’t go off. It upsets your whole being, especially when you remember that you are due to attend an enormously important meeting at work that you care nothing about. You bolt out of bed, heart pounding. The stairs become a death trap. Your kid doesn’t know the definition of the word cooperation. Your freshly laundered shirt needs to be changed thanks to an almost perfect juggling act with a cup of coffee. In two swift moves you dress the kid, pass him like a football to the kindergarten teacher and you’re off. Back in the car you think you're making up for lost time until you enter the highway only to find
This may seem to be the beginning of a simple tale of urban horror, but if my day hadn’t started the way it did I wouldn’t have gotten to know Maxena Tace. I hate to admit it, but this discovery was made thanks to a certain social network which, when I am not being snobby, gives me childlike pleasure while searching for people or musical groups. Marco, the name of my saviour and a member of the band, seriously risked an Oscar nomination for "the last pain in my neck" that morning. He turned out be my saving grace in the face of catastrophe.
As I was listening to “L’accademia del chinotto” my headache gradually subsided, “Gianduia” turn my angry, frowning face into a slight smile, but the last song “Vai col dito” changed the course of my day. It wasn’t just a song, it was a prophecy.
I don’t know if collateral effects exist and I certainly don’t know if these effects are permanent. They might only have a placebo effect. However,I can assure you that Maxena Tace a day keeps the doctor away
Stay tuned
